ARTI[FACE]

Artiface is an imaginary department store that sells things you can't really own like closure, plot twists, permission to leave the party, a Tuesday with no events. You don't pay with money. You pay with your face. Take a selfie, capture an identity card, browse the aisles, bid live on what's in auction, walk out with a real receipt for an imaginary purchase. The interactions blend retail ritual (cart, bidding, checkout) with speculative-design fiction (face capture, pose-based authentication, a printed receipt that exists in the world). Underneath the storefront is a question about what we actually want to buy. What would a department store look like if its inventory matched the things people privately wish for like a quiet, a fresh start, permission, a clean conscience? Artiface is my answer, priced in dollars and printed on real paper. The items are not real. The receipt is.
